Whirlwind

Yep, that explains our lives right now! I don't think I have been at home much this week. Everything is fine, just busy.

Tonight, Randall and I are going on a date. Seriously, when was the last time we had a night together? I have no clue. My friend graciously asked if she could keep both my kids overnight so we could have a night out. Of course I took her up on it. How often does someone ask you to keep your kids!?! Overnight too!!! I'm looking forward to having a conversation with my husband and an uninterupted dinner. Geez, what is that going to feel like? HAHA!
Saturday, we have a very busy day. We have play practice at 9am, Christmas party with the kids at Randall's work at 10am. 3 pm, I have a photo shoot to get ready for. 7 pm, we have a 16th birthday party to attend. We are going to be worn out!
Sunday, we have church and I have another photo shoot. I'm nervous about this one. 25+ people! It'll be interesting!

The kids are doing great. Ruthie is growing up so fast. The other night she went with a friend to the movies. It felt so weird letting my baby girl go to the movies without me. I can't wait until I get to take her to the movies with her friends. Giggle galore! I can only imagine! She's so precious to me. Her laugh is so contagious! She loves her baby brother. It's funny, when one of them is in trouble, they run to each other. Ruthie will baby him, and vice versa. I was complaining about that to my mom. She made a GREAT point- aren't you glad they aren't saying- "haha! Randy's in trouble!" Never thought of it like that. I need to be grateful for these things!
Randy is a wanderer. In fact, that's what my mom calls him. He's everywhere and into everything. It's amazing how much he can get into. The dog bowl, cupboards, pepsi, movies (his fav), the toilet, clothes, shoes, anything! He loves to pull the hangers off Ruthie's closet. It drives me NUTS! I try to keep her door shut, but that doesn't always happen.

I had a cute conversation with Ruthie the other day. She was really upset. She was telling us that she doesn't want to get old, nor does she want us to get old. We were trying to figure out why. She told us that she doesn't want to move out of our house! Isn't that the sweetest thing ever? I just grabbed her and hugged her so tightly. I told her she didn't have to move out if she didn't want to. (I know she will one day, so I can say that!) She has such a precious little heart. She also doesn't want us to get old b/c our teeth will fall out! HAHA! She's really worried about that as well!

Anyways, here's some recent photos. You will see our sweet daughter playing our new (used) piano that was given to us, along with our tree this year! You will notice how Randy is mad at Ruthie, and then all the sudden Ruthie is mad at Randy. But, most of all, you will see how much they love each other! ENJOY!

Beautiful tree and pics of the kiddos. And yes be thankful they aren't egging each other on when they get in trouble. Mine do.
